位取             Kurai Dori – taking position, distancing, sizing-up

右正眼之構    Migi Seigan no Kamae – right true eye posture
左正眼之構    Hidari Seigan no Kamae – left true eye posture
平一文字之構 Hira Ichimonji no Kamae – flat line posture
抱囲之構       Hōkō no Kamae – encompassing, surrounding posture
防備之構       Bōbi no Kamae – retaining equipment, defensive preparation posture

初伝型  Shoden Gata – beginning level transmission forms

抒投     Yokutō – scoop up and throw
押虚     Ōgyaku – push into space
抗抒     Kōyoku – oppose and eliminate
拡倒     Shitō – extend and knock down
捕捉     Hosoku – capture
放擲     Hōteki – release and hit, abandon
斜倒     Shatō – oblique knock down
掛倒     Ketō – hang and knock down
搾撃     Sakugeki – squeeze and strike
擔撃     Tangeki – carry or shoulder and strike
拔技     Batsugi – extracting ability
折倒     Settō – folding knock down
指拍     Shihaku – finger rhythm
